We will go over the 12 principles of animation, but in a practical session in which we will focus on making a fun run or walk cycle (ideal as an intro for your reel!) and see how we can really take advantage of each principle in our work.<br \/>\nThen we can see how this can apply to more complex acting shots, and finally, we&#8217;ll see the basics to making a strong animation reel.<\/p>\n<p><b>Schedule:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day1.<\/strong><br \/>\nChoosing your design. The importance of the appeal and layouts whilst prepping your shot.<br \/>\nRoughing your cycle, where to start?<br \/>\nSecondary actions and exaggeration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day2.<\/strong><br \/>\nFeedback on the work so far.<br \/>\nTiedown, next steps, and animating subtleties and detail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Feedback on the work so far.<br \/>\nA bit about cleanup and presenting your shot to the world.<br \/>\nHow to apply all this to a production shot.<br \/>\nReels, what you need to know.<\/p>\n<p><b>Software and Hardware.<\/b><br \/>\nAny 2D animation software works (TVPaint, Procreate Dreams, ToonBoom, Blender, etc..) .
