Day 1: Crafting a Strong Action-Reaction Performance

Introduction: My journey in animation and key learnings.

Live Demonstration: Animating a 4-5 second character action-reaction shot, focusing on:
- Using body language to express thought and emotion.
- Shot planning: thumbnailing, blocking, and timing.
- My approach to a rough pass in animation. -
Assignment: Animate an action-reaction shot with a character of your choice.
Day 2: Refining and Prepping for Production

Feedback & Review: Critique on assignment progress.

Live Demonstration: Tying down rough animation, focusing on:
- Keeping characters on-model and refining your animation.
- Adding timing charts and production notes for in-between/clean-up artists.
- Tips on efficiency and preparing animation for a professional pipeline.
Day 3: Industry Insights & Portfolio Building

Recommended Software
This workshop is for 2D Traditional Animation, and you can use any 2D frame-by-frame software such as:
TVPaint, Toon Boom Harmony, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate Dreams, Krita, etc.

What happens if I can´t see the classes live one day?
No problem. All classes are live but will also be recorded and posted on our platform. So you can see them whenever you want throughout the duration of the course. This means that if you cannot attend your class live at the stipulated time, you will be able to see them on the platform until the end of the course. These video-classes posted on the platform can be viewed unlimitedly during the duration of the course, but they cannot be copied or downloaded. Recorded class can also be viewed for 6 mounths once the course is over.
When can I see the classes I did not attend live?
24-hour access to the virtual platform where you can consult all the information or documentation of the course, access all the classes that have already been taught or the proposed exercises. When, where and at the rate you want.
