Day 1 and 2
The entire workshop will be a live sculpting session and we will approach questions, corrections,
tips and tricks on the fly, while we work on our model.
You will be proposed a subject to sculpt. Something achievable for the duration of the workshop. I will
sculpt with you, so you can get the chance to watch me work and think.
During the process we’ll talk about mindset and techniques for every step, always within the frame
of sculpting for collectibles/3d printing for 75mm scale and above.
Here are some principles we will be hammering on during our activity
● The fastest and best way to pose our models
● Keeping shapes alive and natural (The stone and the ocean story)
● Consolidate your structure (Content vs continent principle)
● Mastering the human body, not only anatomy
● Silhouette and the rule of 8
● Expressiveness in poses and portraits
● Think like a traditional sculptor
Day 3
I don’t expect the same skill level, goals, ambitions and expectations for each person joining, so I’d
like this last day of the workshop to be open themed and flexible. We can also spend more time
focusing on certain subjects on demand, such as:
● Correction of your works / Portfolio Review
● Break down of my previous works
● Properly presenting your work
● Engineering of the piece
● Mindset and growth
● Bibliography and recommendations

MATERIALS MANDATORY:
● Zbrush
● PureRef (it’s free)
OPTIONAL:
● Blender
● A cup of coffee and/or proper hydration.
